Our Story
At Ability Support Services, the story of our founding is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our founder to address the needs of individuals with disabilities. Our founder’s journey began with early charity efforts within formal institutions and organizations, where the seeds of compassion and advocacy were planted. Motivated by a desire to create positive change, our founder has been deeply involved in the disability rights movement and has played a significant role in shaping legislation such as the Americans with Disabilities Act.
With a diverse background in the field, our founder has held a range of roles focused on providing direct support to individuals with disabilities. From serving as a disability support worker to working as a direct support professional (DSP) and specialist, our founder’s extensive industry experience has been instrumental in empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve independence, improve their quality of life, and actively participate in their communities.
